If you're suffering from the post-holiday blues, you MUST read The Baby Jesus' Pompoms: A Farm in Iowa Story by sheafrotherdon. (It's an amazing AU where John and Rodney live on a farm -- that's all you need to know to enjoy this story.) It's short but never fails to make me laugh out loud.
Take the time to look over this year's SGA Secret Santa stories, art, and podfic that are collected on AO3 here: https://archiveofourown.org/collections/SGA_Secret_Santa_2022. Enjoy the new works and leave the creators some love.
Fests Coming Soon
There will soon be announcement for "Romancing McShep" which will be February 14-28. The only requirement is John and Rodney and a happy ending.
Running simultaneously will be "Romancing SGA" which will be for all of your other romance (or lack thereof) in Stargate Atlantis.
And, heck, I'll set up an AO3 collection for "Romancing SG-1" and maybe we can get a few SG-1 works as well!
All of those fests will take works of any length, type, and media. So start thinking about what you might want to do if you want to join in.
