Romancing Stargate - Coming up in February!

It's time to plan your Stargate romance stories for the various Romancing Stargate feats that will be happening in February. Feb 14-28, to be exact.

The first is Romancing McShep, run by melagan which runs on the romancingmcshep community. This fest has two basic (but hard-and-fast) requirements for fic/art: (1) McShep and (2) a happy ending. That's it...

The second is Romancing SGA, which is hosted on sga_saturday. This fest takes in non-McShep parings, unhappy McShep endings, and anything else SGA. Any pairings, no pairing, whatever you want that is SGA related.

Romancing SG-1 is hosted on stargatefests. For any and all SG-1 stories/art you would like to do. All pairings, all endings... Also, SGU works (which I don't think anyone has done) will be welcome.

There will be AO3 communities for each of these fests, as it gets closer to February.

But this is your time to plan your works... write those stories, create that art, create a podfic.... whatever your heart desires, we're looking forward to it!

We celebrate love in all its forms in Stargate in the month of February! There's something for everyone!

February 14-28 is the posting dates for whatever works you have -- fic, art, poetry, pod fic, temple dancing -- to share with everyone. No sign ups, no commitment -- only sharing the love.

The rules are pretty lax and if you think your work fits, go for it. We love to celebrate Stargate. No length requirements, all formats, no sign-up... as low pressure as it gets.

Romancing McShep

romancingmcshep celebrates romance with two important caveats; (1) John and Rodney; and (2) happy endings. Whether in Pegasus, on Earth, an AU, or whatever amuses you, you can share the love of John and Rodney.

Romancing SGA

For anything that doesn't fit into Romancing McShep but is Stargate Atlantis, Romancing SGA is the place to be. Other pairings and other endings are more than welcome (even unhappy John/Rodney stories!). Posting is to sga_saturday on Dreamwidth.

Romancing SG-1 and Romancing SGU

For the SG-1 and SGU folk, don't worry, we've got you covered, too! Any pairings, any endings... all are welcome! Post is to stargatefests on Dreamwidth.

You don't have to post anywhere specific but it's helpful to post at least a link on Dreamwidth to share the love!
